    Paperback. Condition: Very Good. First Edition. 16-page staple-bound pamphlet in very good condition. In English. Spelled here as "Soong Ching Ling", it is also spelled as Soong Ch'ing-ling and she was also known as Rosamonde, Madame Sun Yat-sen, and was called the "Mother of Modern China" by the BBC. She founded the Revolutionary Committee of the Kuomtintang (KMT) and was dubbed Honorary President of the People's Republic of China and admitted to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). No date listed, probably published in the 1950s. From the inside cover, "we reproduce here the fell text of a recorded speech entitled "A Message from New China" which was prepared by Soong Ching Ling (Mme. Sun Yat-sen), Chairman of the China Welfare Institute, upon the invitation of the China Welfare Appeal in the United States. The speech was broadcast as a meeting on teh health and welfare work of China, held on Nov. 18, 1950, in New York by the China Welfare Appeal.".
