Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. Bound in lovely polished quarter calf over marbled boards with gilt titles and raised spine bands. Some minor rubbing and bumping to the extremities. There is an old damp stain to the inner page edges and some minor scattered foxing but the text of 250 pages on the whole is pretty good. Another copy is pictured with a frontispiece. This volume does not have one.
