Paperback small oblong, fair condition only, stapled pamphlet (12cm x 19cm), full-page colour drawings, colour advert rear cover, covers little creased, foxed spots some pages, few edge tears covers, small tear spine ends, staples rusted, corner tips covers & pages little creased, few bottom corner tips missing, small hole one page (slight text loss), some edgewear. 20 pp. A children's picture book about Australian fish. Written by an ichthyologist (fish expert) at the Australian Museum. The paintings are perfect in every detail, from the beautiful colours to the intricate structure of each fish. This little book is full of fish knowledge and makes fascinating reading for any age. Solvol is an Australian soap brand (advert rear cover). (No date, about 1942.).
