A large facsimile of a lithographic view by De Loutherbourg, originally printed in 1805 for 'The Romantic and Picturesque Scenery of England and Wales', mounted (matted) and ready to frame. Engraved by William Pickett and coloured by John Clarke. This atmospheric view shows Ogween Lake, located in the Snowdonia mountain range, about four miles from the village of Bethasda under the shadow of the Tryfan mountain. Llyn Ogwen is one of the largest in the area, it is 95.5 acres wide and about one mile long.
