Illustrated with 20 colour plates of watercolours by William Smith Jr. and folding map at rear. Tear to map. Generally very good, nice and clean condition inside, occasional foxing. Plates are lovely. Binding slightly cracked at pastedown, blind embossed previous owner?s name on blind title page. Slight remains of bookplate on front pastedown. A picturesque guide to Deeside from the river's source in the Aberdeenshire highlands, through Braemar, Invercauld, Balmoral, Crathie, Lochnagar, etc to Lower Deeside and Aberdeen.
