Full Cloth. Condition: Fair. Full blind stamped decorated blue cloth with gilt lettering on the spine, light wear. Pervious owner's name sticker on behind the front cover. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Hardcover.
Hardcover. The brief preface is unpaginated, numbered leaves continue to the end, each leaf an alkaline insert on glazed stock, of which eleven are in color. Printed rectos only. No Nolan, next to nothing strictly modernist. Hardbound first edition, 9.5x6 inch grey-blue papered boards with white backstrip spine-titled black. Laid in is a neatly cut fragment of a long-gone dust jacket, a color plate. Textblock materials are in excellent shape. Casing is presentable but damaged; an impact to tail of rear cover has dented the lower margin and split the rear joint some three inches, more an aesthetic than structural problem, item remains sound, easy to handle, cleanly and unmarked within. As is, a fair to good copy. FYI, paintings by Van Gogh, Matisse and Gauguin also shown, one each; evidently "Australian art" includes examples washed up on a museum shore.
