Safely sto…wed now, however, in a clear new Ultra-Pro sleeve with white card stock backing board. The Lead articles this week were "Functions of the Brain" and "Formation of the Brain, Heart, &c." Also contains "A Case of Malformation of the Septum Narium"; "Liston's Surgery"; and a brief Yarmouth, Maine, obituary for a Dr. Gad Hitchcock, "aged about 50." Of present day interest is a short ad on the last page informing physicians that they can procure "ten quills charged with PURE VACCINE VIRUS" for $1.00, post paid. Includes a few additional notes and advertisements.
