Unbound. Condition: Good. Thick cardboard stock. 7 by 3 ½ inches. Stereoview of the summit of Mount Washington in the White Mountains of New Hampshire, depicting the Summit House and signs encased in snow. GOOD+ condition. Minor curling to the slide. General toning, some fading and very light soiling. Minor edgewear.

Oblong 12mo. One scalloped silver gelatin stereoview photograph sized 6 x 3.25 in. mounted on gray printed studio board sized 7 x 3.5 in., w/ printed caption below, quote on verso, company imprint at fore-edges (bowed as usual, slight edgewear), still VG. First edition of this striking image of a climber holding his climbing stick contemplating the summit of Mt. Hood from Elliot Glacier. Singley (1864-1938) was a stereographic photographer and salesman for the Underwood & Underwood Co., and in 1892 founded the Keystone View Company for distributing his stereographic and other photographer's images in Meadville, PA.
