    Condition: Fair. 1950. No Edition Remarks. 239 pages. No dust jacket. This is an ex-Library book. Grey paper covered boards. Ex-Library copy, with expected inserts, stamps and inscriptions. Black and white illustrations throughout. Severe cracking to hinges causing boards to be loose. Pages and illustrations are lightly tanned throughout. Boards have moderate shelf-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Light tanning to spine and edges. Tears to spine.

    Hard Cover. First Edition. Very good in a good to very good dust jacket. Spine slant red topstain is spotted; Bookplate on front endpaper. The jacket has some dampstains near the bottom of the spine and at edges (not really noticeable on the book). There are also chips at spine ends, flap folds, and corners, and a small triangular chip in the middle of the spine obscuring part of the author's first name. A "biographical narrative" by the daughter of a Texas wildcatter.
