Soft cover. Condition: Near Fine. 1st Edition. A collectible copy AND a reading copy of Ace Double #H-95, the paperback original first edition of a Clifford Simak story collection, "So Bright the Vision", and a Jeff Sutton novel, "The Man Who Saw Tomorrow". The collectible copy is unread, in near fine condition, marred only by very shallow hinge creases, and a few faint traces of wear to cover edges. Its binding is tight and square, with no reading crease in its spine. Covers are bright and unmarked. Pages are unmarked and unworn, with unfaded publisher's orange stain around edges of the text block. The reading copy is ex-library, with a sound binding, and no marks on any pages other than end papers and title pages. As with all Space Age Book purchases, I will ship these books in a moisture proof zip-loc bag, padded in bubble wrap, inside a sturdy box to assure they reach their new owner in the same condition as my description.

Paperback. Condition: Very Good. This is an Ace Double a mass market paperback book. This book is in Very Good condition and was issued without a dust jacket. The book and its contents are in generally clean, bright condition. There is some light bumping and rubbing to the spine ends and corners of the book cover. The spine of the book has some ground-in dirt and wrinkles. The text pages are clean, but noticeably toned. "Simak became interested in science fiction after reading the works of H. G. Wells as a child. His first contribution to the literature was "The World of the Red Sun", published by Hugo Gernsback in the December 1931 issue of Wonder Stories with one opening illustration by Frank R. Paul. Within a year he placed three more stories in Gernsback's pulp magazines and one in Astounding Stories, then edited by Harry Bates. But his only science fiction publication between 1932 and 1938 was "The Creator" (Marvel Tales #4, MarchApril 1935) , a story with religious implications, which was then rare in the genre.
