Paperback. Condition: Good+. First Edition. 16mo 6" - 7" tall; 112 pages; 1928 Independent Order Brith Abraham of the United States of America. Small 16mo format paperback in decorative title lettered card stock covers, over side stapled text block. Covers frayed with short closed tears at spine ends. Residue of old tape reinforecement base of spine; a pair of staples remain in the rear cover front edge where an insert or ephemeral pieces was attached. Includes grapich reproduction of forms for membership, insurance etc. "The foregoing constitution, laws and resolutions were unanimously adopted by the United States Grand Lodge, Independent Order Birth [sic] Abraham at its annual convention held June 17th, 18th and 19th, 1928, at Saratoga Springs, New York." Order of Brith Abraham was a Jewish fraternity society headquartered in New York City. It was founded in 1887 after breaking away from its parent society, the Order Brith Abraham (founded 1859.) As a fraternal society it offered sick, death and funeral benefits for members, with both male and female members. Sound complete copy with moderate external wear. G+.
