Hardcover. Condition: Near Fine. SIGNED by Maurice Sendak on the half title page. This is possibly the only copy of the UK hardback first edition. The jacket is clipped, and it has one small tear on the front, but this does not intrude on anything important. What is important, of course, is the artist's signature. This was obtai…ned personally by me at Glyndebourne Festival Opera. Sendak worked on several productions there as designer.
