Memories of My Youth was the first solo art exhibition by Winfred Rembert, on display at Adelson Galleries in New York City from April 7 to May 28, 2010. Winfred Rembert (1945-2021) was a Civil Rights activist who spent seven years on a chain gang and survived a lynching after participating in a march in the 1960s. He was a prolific lifelong artist, using hand tools and dye to create art on leather canvases. Rembert's posthumous memoir, Chasing Me to My Grave, received the 2022 Pulitzer Prize for Biography. Signed catalogue of the 2010 "Memories of My Youth" exhibit, the first one-man show by artist Winfred Rembert. (illustrator). Signed.
