Contact seller5-star sellerHardcover. Condition: Fair. This classic of early 20th-century juvenile fiction follows a spirited young girl living in an orphanage who remembers only her first name, Polly. Through her adventures with friends she pieces clues together to discover her true identity. Red cover with black lettering is faded on the spine, which is… torn at the top. Corners are scuffed and bent. Some spotting on the front and back covers. Previous owners have glued an address label and a Thiel College address to the inside front cover, and written a Merry Christmas to and from greeting, with some other notes on the rear endpaper. Front and back hinges are cracked. First page and page 29 are loose, but all others are still bound. Pages are faded and a bit fragile, but still very readable. 250 pages.
