El objetivo principal de este estudio es analizar el comportamiento y la resistencia de las modernas cúpulas esféricas de hormigón con y sin nervios, utilizando la técnica de elementos finitos mediante el software SAP2000. El trabajo consiste en el montaje de cúpulas redondas de diámetro masivo (50, 100 y 150) m con y sin costillas con un grosor único de 15 cm.
