Heavy toning to first and final free endpapers, foxing to page edges, but interior is quite clean and fine. Translation from the original German of Dr. Oskar Seyffert, published first in 1882, then revised and expanded by Henry Nettleship and J.E. Sandys. Text is rendered in double columns for ease of reading, and there are hundreds of images rendered in black-and-white. vi [1], 2-714 pp. plus a full index to illustrations.Member, I.O.B.A., C.B.A., and adherent to the highest ethical standards.
