Arnold Fanck was a German film director best known for his mountain films, emphasizing man's struggle with nature. Sepp Allgeier was Fanck's assistant and and later worked on "Triumph of the Will" and other propaganda films. Translated by George Gallowhur from the 1928 German "Wunder des Scheeschuhs").
