Seltzer (1902 - 1981) was a noted specialist in ear, nose and throat disease and a plastic surgeon. he received his medical degree in 1944 from the University of Pennsylvania, and later became a professor of otorhinolaryngology there. He was chief of the otolaryngology departments at Philadelphia General Hospital, Albert Einstein Medical Center, Mercy Douglas Hospital and Guiffre Medical Center.
