In the front matter it says there is a map in the pocket Comm But there is no pocket in this volume and apparently never was one because there is no evidence of it having been removed. So I'm not sure what that means. Maroon cloth with gilt letters on the front cover and the spine. Just touches of wear to the extremities, covers clean and bright, spine ever so slightly faded, gilt bright, leading edge of first three pages has an area that has apparently been chewed away but not affecting any content, all plates present and in fine condition, previous owner's rubber stamp on the front pastedown, else very good to near fine with no internal markings. No dust jacket, perhaps as issued. This is the second volume of a 3 volume set. Only volume II is offered here.…
