Soft cover. Condition: Very Good. No Jacket. 1st Edition. 12mo, color printed pictorial wrappers (designed by George Giusti, in a remarkable, Surrealist, Dali-like manner), 62pp., terminal display advertising supplement. The content in this issue mixes brilliant design concepts (largely from George Giusti), and reporting on the business and marketing conceptualizing of the American Artists Group with some fairly maudlin and uninspired material on American design, the WPA backed Art Project group of supervisors who had been sacked for their alleged associations with the CIO, the United Federal Workers, and, ostensibly, with Communism and Nazism. An altogether curious mix of stuff. A Very Good copy.
