The original blue cloth is in very good shape though one corner is a bit bumped; gilt lettering on the spine is bright and clear. The interior leaves are bright despite a touch of age-toning, mostly to the endpapers. My philosopher-father left a number of respectful pale pencil lines in the margins (and one word!).
