Soft cover. Condition: Very Good. No Jacket. Third Edition. This book was written for "educators, parents, librarians and anyone interested in responsible multicultural education." It contains nine essays, eight by Native American writers, that contront the impact of stereotyping on children. It also contains poetry, art, and stories by Native Americans in its 298 indexed pages. There are over 100 short critiques of children's books on Native Americans and a resource section that includes an extensive bibliography of recommended children's books. The condition is very good. The pages have very minimal marking in purple marker but are free of tears and folds. The binding is very tight. The blue, orange and black cover is clean but has one scrape and some slight curling on the edges.
