A wonderful scarce book in As New condition; Budd Schulberg's famous account of the rise and fall of Sammy Glick, the Jewish boy born in New York's Lower East Side who very early in life decides to escape the ghetto and climb the ladder of success. Apart from the signature of the author this full leather bound edition contains all of the classic Easton Press trimmings: premium leather, silk moiré end leaves, distinctive cover design, raised bands, accented in real 22KT gold, satin ribbon page marker, gilded page edges, long-lasting, high-quality acid-neutral paper, sewn pages for strength and durability. This limited edition is a consciously heirloom standard and will be around long after the trade editions have fragmented.
