Edges are marbled, and have index cutaways. Well illustrated throughout, with fine colour plates with tissue guards. A few spots to blank endpapers, but text is bright and clean throughout, and plates are impressive. Occasional page flaw - crease to final text page with small nibble at foot of page, and crease to final endpaper. Crease to title page of Vol. II. Text in English.
