Topedge faintly foxed, cover a bit rubbed, small faint stain on foredge, about near fine. According a website dedicated to his work, Schoenbrod (1903-1996) was a specialty jeweler-turned-artist when "a breakdown lead to a breakthrough." It seems he worked mostly in bas-relief, drawings, and watercolor, and wrote extensively in an attempt to help enlighten humanity. A 1982 article on Schoenbrod in the *San Francisco Chronicle* is called: *An Artist Who is Trying to Picture God: Electroshock Therapy Gave Him a Vision of the Absolute*.
