Very good hardcover with good- dust jacket and Onion skin over dust jacket in good- condition, from a private home collection. Previous owner's name on front endpaper, otherwise text appears unmarked. Binding is tight, sturdy and square. Light age-toning. Onion skin DJ is heavily age-toned and edgeworn, with chipping at head and heel of spine, small chips along edges. Dust jacket is price-clipped and has soiling; print advertisements for Knopf on inside of jacket bleeds through. Edgewear to DJ, including some small chips missing at corners and head/heel of spine.
