Paperback. Condition: New. Print on Demand. This book delves into the relationship between gastrointestinal issues in infants and sepsis. Drawing on cases, the author points out that the clinical manifestations of digestive diseases in institutional settings are more severe, presenting a spectrum of complications not commonly seen elsewhere. The author connects these observations to cases of sepsis and pyemia, suggesting that they are related. They examine case histories, microscopy, bacteriology, and animal experiments to support this hypothesis. The results indicate that various forms of severe gastrointestinal illness and sepsis are caused by a limited range of organisms, primarily staphylococci and streptococci. These findings provide essential insights into the underlying causes and mechanisms of these conditions, aiding in the development of improved diagnostic and therapeutic approaches. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book. print-on-demand item.

12 S. OBrosch. Mit der Tafel. Vgl. ÖBL X, 53f. - Kl. Buntstift-Buchstabe a. T., leichte Lichtschatten, kl. Geburtshilflichen Klinik in Wien.
