She begins the inscription, "To my dear daughter Mary A??? and to dear Charles, Hoping that you will enjoy this book which my uncle William Morgan Savin wrote." A charming book, featuring descriptions of native New Jersey insects and spiders, with color illustrations and black-and-white photos of specimens.
