Rather shaken - a clean copy in original cloth, but a little loose in its binding. Some browning & wear but a good copy. Initially published in monthly parts, commencing in June 1884. The first six were monthly, but after that publication was intermittent - Part XI was published in 1886. Satchell died before the work was completed, and Alfred Wallis carried it on to its conclusion, and included a two page epilogue. Westwood condensed the Bibliotheca Piscatoria into A Collector's Hand-List Of Angling Books which is included in this volume in eight parts, "by means of which any possessor of a large or small collection may, (marking off, in red ink, the books already in hand) not only form his own catalogue without trouble, but determine, also, at a glance, what articles remain to be sought for towards completion." .
