ILLUSTRATED WITH EIGHTEEN ORIGINAL COLOR LITHOGRAPHS BY MAURI…CE ELIE SARTHOU. From a total edition of 175 copies, this is one of 110 copies printed on fine Rives wove paper, signed below the limitation statement by the author and the artist. THIS COPY WAS PRINTED FOR THE ARTIST AND IS JUSTIFIED "Exemplaire d'artiste". Exceptionally, it is accompanied by ONE OF ONLY 25 SUITES OF THE 18 COLOR LITHOGRAPHS PRINTED HORS-TEXTE ON JAPON NACRÉ PAPER (sometimes translated into English as "Pearl Japan"), WITH EACH LITHOGRAPH JUSTIFIED (16/25) AND SIGNED BY THE ARTIST. The double-page lithographs, which are folded in the book, are unfolded and pristine in the suite. The book is printed folio, and is loose as issued in the original wraps, board chemise, and slipcase. A little faint spotting to the paper, else clean.
