First published the prior year. An exciting collection of photos capturing the vital San Francisco punk scene. Among the best are those by Fitzgerald, who used insane-asylums and industrial wastelands as settings for his photoshoots. Those tableaux and his habit of shooting at odd angles created a disturbing visual language somewhere between Brassai and Weegee. A handsome copy.
