Davois II, 160…signale un portrait qui ne figure pas dans cet exemplaire. Edwige Santiné se présente comme Huissier du Cabinet de Napoléon à Sainte-Hélène, mais il s'agit en vérité d'un pseudonyme de Charles Doris, auteur d'autres ouvrages d'un style semblables à celui-ci.
