Condition: Good. 1st Edition, Limited Edition. A scarce and visually striking limited edition poetic work, printed in Rome in 1918, combining Italian avant-garde production with French literary expression. This copy forms part of a numbered limitation, identified as: No. 210 It is signed separately by the author, Luigi Amaro, in red ink on the limitation page, and further distinguished by a substantial autograph presentation inscription, dated 1925, reading: Al pittore Ciro Tozzi invio per un ricordo fraterno incancellabile This establishes the copy as a personal gift from Amaro to the Italian painter Ciro Tozzi, situating it within the artistic and literary circles of early twentieth-century Italy. The volume is preserved in its original printed wrappers, as issued, with untrimmed edges and strong typographic presentation, including a bold two-colour illustrative frontispiece. Importantly, the 1918 Rome edition is bibliographically recorded as including a prefatory poem by Guillaume Apollinaire, titled À Luigi Amaro, forming part of the original publication context and reflecting the close literary relationship between the two figures within the European avant-garde. Condition; Original wrappers, lightly worn with minor creasing and handling marks. Edges largely untrimmed. Internally clean, with strong impressions throughout. The authors signature and inscription are clear and well preserved. Why This Matters; This is a multi-layered association copy, combining: A limited numbered edition A distinctive red ink author signature A personal presentation inscription to Ciro Tozzi A documented connection to Guillaume Apollinaire through the edition's prefatory structure Such copies move beyond standard signed examples into the realm of cultural artefacts, linking literary and artistic figures across early twentieth-century European networks. Offered by Atlas Rare Books, specialists in rare and antiquarian books. Inscribed by Author(s).…
