Para el diseño de la cubierta F.V.G. ha reutilizado los tipos de un calendario de 1940 de la compañía de publicidad de Dwaer, la fachada del edificio y la mano. La mayor parte de los textos están imprimido…s en minúsculas y firmados con las iniciales de sus autores. Dos de ellos son de Vordembege y de Willen Sandberg. En el precioso fotomontaje, el retrato de Frans Duwaer rodeado de letras y de los típicos símbolos Bauhaus: el triángulo amarillo, el cuadrado rojo y el círculo azul. Exepto uno, en alemán, todos los textos están en holandés. Frans Duwaer (Amsterdam 1911- Overveen 1944) editor e impresor holandés que imprimía documentos de identidad falsos y en 1944 fue fusilado. Friedrich Vordemberge-Gildewart (Osnabrück 1899-Ulm, Alemania 1962) pintor Neo-plasticista alemán (De Stijl). Uno de los pocos pintores que cultivaron el arte abstracto a lo largo de toda su vida. Estudió arquitectura, interiorismo y escultura. En 1924 creó el grupo de arte abstracto Gruppe K en Hanover con Hans Nitzschke y formó parte de Der Sturm en Berlin. Tras conocer a Theo van Doesburg, Kurt Schwitters y Hans Arp, se hizo miembro de De Stijl in 1925. Junto a Kurt Schwitters y Carl Buchheister creó el grupo 'Abstrakten Hannover' en 1927. Fue miembro de varios grupos artísticos, entre ellos the Cercle et Carré, 1930, París y fue socio fundador de Abstraction-Création 1931, también en París. En 1937 el régimen nazi expuso su obra en una difamante Degenerate Art exhibition. Se confiscó la mayor parte de su obra y se le obligo a salir de Alemania. Se trasladó a Holanda. He was one of the first painters to work for his entire career within an abstract style. was born in Osnabrück, Germany and studied architecture, interior design and sculpture at Hanover School of Art and the Technical College, Hanover. In 1924 he formed the abstract art group Gruppe K in Hanover with Hans Nitzschke and joined Der Sturm in Berlin. After meeting Theo van Doesburg, Kurt Schwitters and Hans Arp, he became a member of De Stijl in 1925. Together with Kurt Schwitters and Carl Buchheister he formed the 'Abstrakten Hannover' group in 1927. He was a member of a number of other artistic groups including: the Cercle et Carré, 1930, Paris and was a founding member of Abstraction-Création (1931), also in Paris. In 1937, in Munich, the Nazi regime exposed his works in the infamous Degenerate Art exhibition. Most of his works were confiscated and he was forced to leave Germany for the Netherlands. was born in Osnabrück, Germany and studied architecture, interior design and sculpture at Hanover School of Art and the Technical College, Hanover.
