Paperback. Condition: new. Paperback. To win in cricket, one needs to look for opportunities to build partnerships. Cricket is an ultimate team sport, unlike golf or tennis, and so is writing a book. I had to depend on people along the way. I first want to thank my brother, James Diresh, who worked closely with me on this book. It was fitting that we co-authored this book, as my father's instructions were the same for both of us. James listened patiently (most of the time) as I named, shaped, and scaled my vision for this book. James accused me of micromanaging sometimes. That is probably true, as I got anxious to complete what we had started. I started well for most of my life and did not always have the stamina or focus to finish. That being said, we finished this book! Numerous others also helped me: My friend, Dwight Robinson, came alongside me a year ago and breathed energy into the process. Even though he had never played cricket, he encouraged me to finish what I had started. Randy Elliott, a friend's friend whom I had never met in person, was an encouragement to me. His publishing experience and willingness to share aided and guided our project. Then there was my promotional team, led by Shelley Jack and Rachel Kaluhiokalani, who helped me with countless hours of tweaking and advice, especially towards the end, to get the book finished and launched across time zones and cultures.
