"Matt Helm" premiered as a two hour self-titled ABC television fi…lm on May 7, 1975, and the series ran for one season with thirteen episodes from September 20, 1975 through January 3, 1976. Loosely based on the character created by Donald Hamilton in his 1960 novel "Death of a Citizen." Anthony Franciosa stars as the titular character, a former secret agent who opens a private detective business. In this episode Helm clears a businessman of murder charges before discovering evidence that may point to the man's guilt. Shot on location in Los Angeles. Blue titled wrappers, noted as FINAL DRAFT on the front wrapper, dated October 2, 1975. Title page present, dated October 2, 1975, noted as FINAL DRAFT, with credits for screenwriter Michael Fisher and story by Stanley Roberts. 79 leaves, with last page of text numbered "67-68."
