First Edition
Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Presumed First. Presumed first edition w/NAP, hardcover in full blue cloth with gilt titling to front and spine, has three pieces of related ephemera laid in at the front including a Hammer Galleries catalog for Barth paintings and an invitation from Saks to a dinner where the guest would be Barth, book has a small skew to the binding, a touch of rippling along edges of pastedowns, very faint sunning to the spine, very slight shelfwear to spine ends and cover corners, and a hint of a musty scent to text block, otherwise a solid, tight VG copy in a VG+ slipcase, which has some very slight wear to corners and edges, and a touch of sunning with a hint of rubbing to panels.
