Democracy was dying a slow death." "Photograph of Hambone after his promotion from captain to brigadier general at a secret meeting of congress" on lower cover and cover art by Liani. Scarce title. Good condition, wraps fairly soiled and edgeworn, light soiling to text block edges, with all faults a strong copy.
