Tall slim 8vo. Unpaginated. Paper-covered boards lettered in gold at the upper board. With one full-page black and white drawing by Paul Nash, and a second colour illustration. The boards marked, toned and soiled, and the paper-covering chipped at the spine with a number of vertical slivers of loss. The final leaf, noting that this is number 19 of The Ariel Poems series, detached and lain-in. A fair copy, but really quite crisp internally. No dust wrapper called for. Signed by Author(s).…

The ninth publication of the Dun Emer Press before it evolved into the Cuala Press, founded in 1902 by Elizabeth Yeats, William Butler Yeats and Evelyn Gleeson as part of the Celtic Twilight.  A very good copy, with light wear at the extremities particularly effecting the corners, a little soiling to the boards and age toning to boards and spine. Some offsetting to endpapers, otherwise very bright internally. …

First edition, signed limited large-paper issue, number 107 of 400 copies on handmade paper, signed by the Irish mystic poet as both George Russell and with his pseudonym. Russell admired Paul Nash's designs evoking the mysterious imagery of the poem. Octavo, pp. 7. Illustrated title page, colour illustration, both by Paul Nash. Original grey boards, front cover lettered in gilt. Edges lightly rubbed and bumped, small marks to front pastedown and rear board. A near-fine copy.…
