This is the incredible adventure story of George Rushby, elephant poacher turned Game Warden in then Tanganyika who during the course of his life became a serious hunter of tuskers. He was also responsible for wiping out a pride of man eating lio…ns of Njombe, that killed and ate hundreds of natives which was made into a film by the BBC. There is a tale of hunting a man eating leopard here too, as well as Rushby s lifelong friendship with the legendary African hunter James Sutherland. A limited edition of 775 copies, of which this is #148, signed by the publisher. Hard cover, illustrated (see images) 205 pages with the original dust jacket with light hipping on top of the spine with little loss. As of this posting there are no copies of this limited edition volume available online.
