The exterior shows toning and some spotting along with edge and corner bumps, staple areas on spine shows small tears. The internal binding is good and text pages are tight, no signatures or bookplates, no handwriting, no library markings found. Paper is toned due to age and there is some minor spotting present. The rear the book contains five large foldout maps, all of which are present and in excellent condition. The biggest issue with this copy is the tearing around the staples. The main body of the book starts at page 239 and continues on page 285. There is a second title page in the rear the book (marked as bulletin 846) entitled Contributions to Economic Geology by G. F. Loughlin, the section only contains a few pages.
