First Edition
Hardcover. Condition: Good. No Jacket. Elizabeth Rosenkrans (illustrator). 1st Edition. Robinson Crusoe was written by Daniel Defoe BUT this copy, written specifically for children was edited by Rosemary Kingston and illustrated by Elizabeth Rosenkrans. The book was published by Whitman Publishing Company in 1917 and appears to be a First Edition as such. It's not an ex-library copy, is a hard cover book with no dust jacket, but is only in good condition. The spine was beginning to erode so I put a piece of clear tape on it to shore it up and the pages are beginning to yellow. The book is 6 1/4" by 8 3/8" and has 80 pages with four color "plates and several black-and-white illustrations. Thank you!
