Dort baute er das Institut für Physiologie auf und wurde 1906 dessen Direktor. 1914/15 war er Dekan der Philosophischen und Naturwissenschaftlichen Fakultät, 1921/22 Rektor der Universität Münster. * Alte Faltung.
