Book itself is in very good condition. No date on the title page. Copyright page dated 1984. Stated First Edition. 182 pages. This copy has a clipped inscription affixed to the front endpaper, "For Winnie & David with best regards, Rose and Milton." The clipped paper with the inscription is 4 x 2 inches. The inscription is to David Meiselman and his wife. Meiselman was an influential economist and collaborator with Milton Friedman. A nice association copy. Jordon was President, Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland. Laid in are two Christmas cards (2001 and 2002) to the Jordons, from, and signed in blue ink by Vaclav Klaus, President, Parliament of the Czech Republic. The 2002 card features a color lithograph by Czech graphic artist Vladimir Suchanek. The artwork is entitled POZVANI DO SNU / INVITATION INTO A DREAM, and is pencil signed by the artist. The book is in Near Fine condition in a Very Good dust jacket. The jacket is protected by a removable Brodart clear-plastic sleeve. NOT price clipped ($35.00). NO chips. NO fading. Sharp corners.
