First Edition
Stapled A4 Wrappers. Condition: Very Good. First Edition. (16pp.) including printed covers. Abse's three poems titled Alternative Monologues are The Excavation, History & Meurig Dffyd to his Mistress. The responses are reproduced exactly as they were received whether typed, in holograph or illustrated. The last 3 pages are comprised of Abse's own responses to both the poems & its responses. Although projected as a series of 12 issues, the next advertized as being based on the work of Robert Sheppard, it appears as if this was the only issue to appear. Short tear on spine edge of rear wrapper. Quite scarce.

Soft cover. Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. One of 200 numbered copies. 4to. Stab-stapled sheets with hand-titled wrappers affixed. [80pp.]. An 'A4ANONYMOUS' issue in the rather complex 'Responses' series. Very Good, with a small, unobtrusive chip to the upper wrapper at its head edge, the lower wrapper a touch soiled. With a loosely inserted flyer for its follow-up publication.
