Volume 1: Frontispiece.cxxxiv, 145-412. 4 fold-out maps. Volume 2:vi, 467pp. 3 fold-out maps. (one soiled at edges, 1 plate. Volume 3:viii, 494pp. 3 fold-out maps.…Volume 4: 1 fold-out map. Volume 5: vi, 1 fold-out and one other map. (fold-out grubby at edges) Volme 6:vii, 451pp. 1 fold-out map and 1 plate. Volume 7:viii, 448pp. Volume 8:iv, 427. 1 city plan, 1 plate. All volume full matching leather with 5 raised bands to spine and gilt decoration. Title and volume labels missing to some volumes. Brown marbled ep's and small ex libris to fep. Owners name to reverse ffep. Largde chip to top of spine to volume 1. noted some slight page creases and torn corner. As mentioned a couple of the fold out maps have dirty edges and noted some small tears.As to be expected some slight foxing and marks to leather but these are generally nice clean copies. As there are 8 volumes post and packing will be more than quoted by abe and please note we only send airmail on valuable items and surface mail cannot be insured.
