Vintage flyer for a showing of the 1964 film at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium. A little-remembered surfing adventure film by noted surf photographer and film producer Grant Rohloff. Shot on location in Hawaii, at Sunset Beach, Waimea Bay, and Banzai Pipeline. 8.5 x 11 inches. Very Good plus, lightly and evenly age toned, with three pinholes at the top edge.

Condition: near fine. Two flyers for Grant Rohloff surf films. Privately Printed, Various dates 1/ Flyer for Grant Rohloff's 1961 surf film, Out of Control. 9 ½x6", (24x15 cm). Features a photo of a surfer riding a wave printed in blue against a white background. Fine. 1961. Handbill and ticket for Grant Rohloff's film North Swell. 28x21 cm (11x8 ½"). Nicely designed handbill with photos of crashing waves, text in red and black. The ticket reproduces a photo of a surfer riding a wave. A few minuscule holes, light creasing to top corners, very good or better; ticket fine. c.1963. Nice examples of ephemera from surfer/photographer/filmmaker Grant Rohloff. Paper surfing ephemera of this vintage is scarce. Condition: Overall near fine.
