Leather bound hardback; it has [10] + 1022 pages and is ESTC T190378 complete. The contemporary tree calf binding is rubbed and scuffed, it has been soundly respined in leather. The endpapers are browning. There is some worm damage throughout with sl ight loss to the text, the last 60 pages have a marginal stain, the last few leaves are more heavily affected rendering the stained areas fragile.

Hardcover. Condition: Fair. Contemporary decorative reversed calf. Much worn and rubbed, with spine lost. Rear board intact at cords; front still holding by two. Front endpaper and half-title page lost, with title-page still attached but worn with some loss at edges. Staining to endpapers, with intermittent staining/toning to text. Otherwise clean and unmarked. Still a neat, square and completely utile volume of this period treatise of key linguistic usage. viii,1022pp. Size: 4to - over 9¾ - 12" tall. Book.
