French physicians and medical researchers discuss a huge range…of conditions in this nineteenth century volume, with sections on salts in the blood, anaemia, heart disease, and cancer. Rebound in a red quarter calf binding over red cloth board. Externally, sound. With some marks to the front board, and some light scuffing of the leather near the front joint. The front joint is beginning to crack near the head of the spine. A little bumped to the head of the spine, more so to the tail, which is missing a little calf and has a closed tear. The front hinge is starting, but firm. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright with light foxing throughout. Good. None (illustrator). book.
