Covers are quite toned with wear to paper at head and foot of spine, as well as corners, where boards have been exposed and bumped. DJ in similar condition -- toned, with chipping along edges and the beginnings of some small closed tears along upper edge and head of spine. Fits snug to boards. Front gutter is cracked but covers remain attached and there are no loose pages. SIGNED and inscribed by author Lesley Frost on half-title page. Pages are free of marks or tears (if a bit toned), with illustrations by Robin Hudnut throughout. Overall, a fair reading copy that has been signed by the author.
